AgieCharmilles launched its new diesinker control called NEW HMI at IMTS 2012 on the FORM300 and FORM20. The Human-Machine Interface, or HMI, is an intuitive control that allows novice and expert users alike to produce superior results. Providing a consistent look and feel for all Agie Charmilles users, the all-new HMI reduces the learning curve when upgrading or adding on, giving shops the opportunity to get up and running quickly. MTConnect is now fully integrated and with this feature, software which provides statistical information can now be plug-n-play with all AgieCharmilles diesinkers line.

 

The MTConnect protocol from the EDM machine is also being utilized by a new AgieCharmilles application which was also launched at IMTS 2012. This software called eTracking was mainly designed for the Aerospace and Medical industries, to track all events and intervention on either the diesinker EDM or wire EDM machine. The eTracking software records and verifies that the machine is producing parts to specified norms and that the operator is maintaining the machine when it is needed
